Skin Whitening Injection

Skin Whitening Injection involves injecting into your body substances that inhibit the melanocyte pigment cells that produce darker spots. The injections are a quicker and more effective alternative to oral supplements. They are also much more permanent. However, there are some serious side effects to consider when considering this treatment.

Injections are injected into a vein or muscle in the face, hands, arms or buttocks with the claim to whiten skin and correct uneven skin tone. They can also reduce age spots and black spots, fade scars, and reduce hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, acne or birthmarks. Anecdotal results suggest that they may lighten your skin by two or three shades.

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant. When injected into the body, it converts into glutathione disulfide and blocks melanin production by attaching to the tyrosinase enzyme in melanocytes – the specialist cells that create the skin pigmentation. Glutathione is an excellent whitening agent, but also has many other health benefits. It can detoxify the body, improve liver function and help with respiratory issues.

Despite the claims, there is no scientific evidence that glutathione injections are safe or effective for skin bleaching. As a result, they remain unregulated and should be avoided.
